The UK Pilot Centre for ERCOFTAC is run by the UK Fluids Network (UKFN).
At the heart of UKFN is a set of 39 Special Interest Groups, many of which overlap with the ERCOFTAC SIGs. More than 900 academics are involved in the UKFN SIGs, distributed around the UK at over 60 institutions.
UKFN also runs a Short Research Visit scheme, funding visits of around a week by any UK fluid mechanics researcher to another UK researcher or group. There have been 64 SRVs funded so far, covering a wide range of experimental, modelling and numerical development topics.
